A Bill to make further provision about fuel poverty; and for connected purposes.
Summary
<p>The provisions of the Bill would </p><ul><li>require the Government to introduce an energy efficiency programme to bring existing homes up to current energy efficiency levels <br></li><li>impose a duty on energy suppliers to offer social tariffs to limit vulnerable households’ exposure to high energy bills <br></li><li>reinforce the legal duty on the Government to act to end fuel poverty.</li></ul>
