Every number on TrustPolitics is sourced from UK public records. We do not collect or invent data — we clean, join and present what is already public.
TrustPolitics is built entirely on free, publicly-accessible UK government data. Every MP profile, expense claim, vote, petition and financial interest you see on this site is sourced directly from the official APIs and bulk datasets published by UK Parliament, the Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority, the Electoral Commission and the ONS.
If you spot a figure you think is wrong, it is almost certainly upstream — we do not modify the source data. You can get in touch and we will check the source record and correct our ingestion if necessary.

DailyBiographical, contact, party and constituency data for every current MP and Lord — plus voting eligibility, government posts and registered financial interests.

We aim to refresh every dataset at least daily while Parliament is sitting. Short gaps may exist around recess or after major data-source changes. All figures shown are a snapshot of what the official source had published at the time of our last sync — we surface the original source and date wherever we can so you can verify.
Licensing & attribution
This site contains Parliamentary information licensed under the Open Parliament Licence v3.0. IPSA expense data, Electoral Commission donations data and ONS reference data are published under the Open Government Licence v3.0. Both licences permit free reuse — including commercial — provided the source is acknowledged. We acknowledge UK Parliament, IPSA, the Electoral Commission and the Office for National Statistics as the originating publishers of all data on this site.
Personal data exemption.The Open Parliament Licence does not cover personal data contained in Parliamentary information. Where the data we republish is personal data of public officials (names, voting records, registered interests, debate contributions and similar), we process it under UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f) (legitimate interests — public accountability), Article 85 / DPA 2018 Schedule 2 Part 5 (special purposes — journalism), and Article 9(2)(e) (information manifestly made public by the data subject).
