TrustPolitics (“the Site”) is operated by Digital Platforms Limited(“we”, “us”, “our”), a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17087275). By accessing or using the Site you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2. What we publish and data accuracy

The content on TrustPolitics is generated from publicly available UK government datasets. We aim to present this information accurately and to refresh it regularly, but we cannot guarantee that every figure is up to date or free of error at any given moment. The Site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.

You should not make important decisions based solely on data shown on TrustPolitics. Always check the original source before relying on a figure for journalism, academic work, legal proceedings or voting decisions. See our Data Sources page for direct links to the upstream publishers.

3. Defamation, context and the public interest

TrustPolitics publishes factual information about elected representatives and parliamentary proceedings. Where we show scores, rankings or aggregated figures (for example the “Activity Efficiency Score”), these are editorial opinionsbased on publicly available data, using a published methodology. They are offered as honest opinion in the public interest and are not statements of fact about any individual’s integrity, character or financial conduct.

4. Your use of the Site

You agree not to:

  • Scrape, bulk-download or automate access to the Site in ways that place unreasonable load on our infrastructure.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site, its underlying servers or databases.
  • Use the Site to harass, threaten or defame any person (including MPs, Lords or members of the public).
  • Introduce malicious code, viruses or other harmful software.
  • Breach any applicable UK law while using the Site.

The underlying data is public record and is not owned by us. Our original content — the written descriptions, design, layout, logos and scoring methodology — is © Digital Platforms Limited.

You may quote, link to and screenshot TrustPolitics pages for personal, journalistic and academic use with attribution. Any commercial re-publication of our original content requires written permission.

TrustPolitics contains links to UK government services and other third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices or accuracy of those sites.

7. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Digital Platforms Limited excludes all liability for any loss or damage (direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or otherwise) arising from your use of the Site or reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
