I do not want to sound overdramatic, but anyone who follows Politico—it is a sort of news agency—and gets its alerts might have seen this morning a report of a judge in Antwerp, Belgium, who has anonymously written a letter saying that Belgium is basically a narco state; that is how he referred to it. The importation of narcotics through Antwerp is now so extensive that it is accompanied by high levels of violence—60 drug-related shootings in Brussels in this year alone—and by corruption, with judges being offered bribes. Systematic, mafia-like business is being conducted there.
