We recognise that it is absolutely critical to ensure sufficient funding for enforcement and implementation in order that the Bill can succeed. We have announced £10 million of funding for trading standards in 2025-26 in order both to boost the workforce and to tackle illicit and underage sales of tobacco and vapes. Again, I am sure that we will come back to this issue in more detail in our debate on a later group.
