I thank the noble Lord, Lord Moylan, for tabling Amendments 3 and 17, which seek to specify that the age-verification regulations to which I have referred should be subject to the affirmative resolution procedure. I have heard the support on this matter in Committee, including from the noble Earl, Lord Howe. We are closely considering the recommendations of the Delegated Powers and Regulatory Reform Committee, which looked at the Bill in its 22nd report of the 2024-25 Session. We feel that the scrutiny of these powers in the Bill has been very helpful and I hope to provide further information on the Government’s response on Report.
