We also intend to further strengthen the enforcement of online sales through the introduction of the new licensing scheme. The scheme will act as a deterrent to rogue retailers and provide enforcement agencies with further opportunities to bring penalties against them. We will consult before introducing the scheme, but our intention is that both physical and online retailers will be required to have a licence to sell relevant products. The call for evidence that we launched recently includes questions on how the scheme should be administered for online retailers. I hope that is some reassurance of our seriousness and the progress that we seek to make in this regard.
