I was particularly asked by the noble Baroness, Lady Walmsley, and the noble Earl, Lord Howe, whether the wide powers taken in the Bill allow for mandating age-gating technology in the future, if needed. That was an important aspect of the point that the noble Lord, Lord Lansley, raised. To be clear, the powers in the Bill have not been designed with the intention of doing this.
