Public Authorities (Fraud, Error and Recovery) BillContribution
When we are dealing with powers of this magnitude—powers that reach across government, affect individual citizens and involve the use of sensitive information—direct accountability is a constitutional necessity. So while we welcome this first step from the Government, we ultimately need accountability not only on day one but from day one and every day thereafter.
