Public Authorities (Fraud, Error and Recovery) Bill

Contribution

For example, we may ask financial institutions in an EVN to return limited information about accounts that match the following criteria: first, the account receives universal credit and, secondly, the accounts have over £16,000 in capital. After applying the criteria in the EVN, the bank will return the specified, limited information. That can include only account details, such as account numbers and sort codes; details to identify the individuals, such as names and dates of birth; and details about how the accounts meet the criteria specified in the EVN.
