75: Clause 77, page 46, leave out line 6 Member’s explanatory statement This amendment would remove the ability for DWP authorised investigators in England and Wales to use reasonable force when exercising their powers of entry, search or seizure under PACE 1984. If reasonable force is needed, it remains a matter for the police.
