It now turns to me to pick up the task and continue the work on this piece of legislation that introduces measures to support the production of SAF in the UK. Until now, there has been consensus across the House about the need to act fast, get it right and drive investment into the SAF industry while ensuring that flying remains affordable for the British public. Those priorities, and the central aims of the Bill, remain clear: to create a market for UK SAF production; to progress our aim of decarbonising aviation; and to create green skilled jobs across the United Kingdom.
