Secondly, this instrument rationalises parts of the continuing airworthiness regulation by combining similar requirements into one location, making the regulations easier to follow. These amendments also reintroduce qualification requirements for aircraft maintenance staff, such as on the timings for retaking key examinations, which were erroneously omitted.
