We encourage employers to recognise their success, and many of them already contribute to that. This builds on the enormous breadth of work done by Skills England and the evidence it has brought forward through its analysis of official apprenticeship statistics and engagement. We understand that some level 7 apprenticeships are popular and well used by employers, and therefore we are encouraging employers to invest in upskilling their staff over 22 to level 7 when it delivers a benefit to the business and the individuals involved.
