Children’s Wellbeing and Schools BillContribution
We are seeing the scars of lost activity, not just physically but mentally, too. That is precisely why His Majesty’s loyal Opposition strongly support the amendments in this group. Amendment 492, in the name of my noble friend Lord Holmes, calls for a review to incorporate the recommended amount of physical education into the school curriculum. Given that we know this is not currently being implemented fully and children are not exercising enough, the Government surely must take action to get our children active. Why would they not do such a thing?
