I also listened with interest to the noble Baroness, Lady Kidron, and the noble Lord, Lord Russell of Liverpool, on Amendment 502YH. It is striking when one reads the amendments how many different standards schools already have to comply with, such as Keeping Children Safe in Education, the digital technology in schools guidance, and Generative AI: Product Safety Expectations. All this makes pen and paper look positively straightforward. But we need high standards, as the noble Lords both said, in schools in particular.
