Children’s Wellbeing and Schools BillContribution
Together, these amendments protect not only parents but children, schools, providers and communities. They rebuild trust that the state will focus its energies where they matter most and will relinquish powers that do more harm than good. If the Bill is to endure, it must not only serve well in fair weather, under whichever Government; it must be robust enough to withstand foul weather too, to guard against inefficiency in normal times and against authoritarian misuse in extraordinary ones.
