We are asking for further improvements within this group, and many of them are reasonable. In particular, I commend those signed by my noble friends Lord Russell and Lady Parminter. Our own Liberal Democrat approach has long prioritised clear, enforceable measures over aspiration alone. These amendments reflect that commitment, prioritising tangible benefit for nature, robust monitoring and transparent standards. They address current weaknesses in the legislation, improve the reliability of outcomes and support public trust. I beg to move.
