Hence, there is an irrefutable need and scale for homes for social rent and an urgent need to put pressure in the right places. That is what these amendments seek to do, with the first right place being very definitely the new spatial development strategies. This is the aim of my Amendment 137 and that of Amendment 141 in the name of the noble Lord, Lord Best.
