The other wicked issue is affordability. I was particularly shocked by the analysis from the noble Lord, Lord Best, that if the percentage of social homes delivered continued in that trend, only 8% would match the definition of truly affordable to those on low incomes. So despite all our best intentions, it will barely make a dent in the need, which is why we support Amendment 122 from the noble Lord, Lord Best.
