Local Audit (Amendment of Definition of Smaller Authority) Regulations 2025Contribution
The danger for the Government is that, actually, this change from £6.5 million to £15 million will reduce the number of local audits that are waiting to be done to the standard required. However, as I say, there is no full impact assessment and no cost-benefit analysis; there is really very little, so what is the reasoning behind £15 million?
