Local Audit (Amendment of Definition of Smaller Authority) Regulations 2025Contribution
Exactly what monitoring is planned over the next two to three years? There needs to be an ongoing impact assessment, not just a forecast impact assessment—which we would have had today—but the assessment the Government will make of the impact of this change on those local authorities, a number of which have been mentioned by the noble Lord, Lord Fuller.
