Financial Services and Markets Act 2023 (Capital Buffers and Macro-prudential Measures) (Consequential Amendments) Regulations 2025Contribution
At Mansion House 2024, the Chancellor committed to make further legislative changes to the MiFID framework as part of the Government’s wider work to reinvigorate capital markets. This included committing to revoke detailed firm-facing regulatory requirements in the MiFID organisational regulation for the financial services regulators to replace with their rules in line with the FSMA model of regulation.
