The report also says that the role of water companies in the planning process should be strengthened. I hope that, when we get to strategic development strategies and plan-making, we will make sure that water companies are involved, that the water resources plans coming through from, for example, Water Resources East, are reflected in the strategic development strategies, and that we make sure that water companies, water resource management plans and the infrastructure delivery programmes of the water undertakers take full account of where the strategic development and the new homes and new employment will be delivered.
