In most cases, councils have a common approach, prohibiting a variety of roles, such as delivering milk or working in a commercial kitchen or licensed betting shop. However, there can be differences. An example can be seen in two neighbouring councils, Liverpool City Council and Sefton Borough Council, in which employment as an assistant in a fairground amusement arcade is specifically listed as prohibited in one, whereas, in the other council, it is not.
