11: Clause 3, page 24, line 3, leave out “a specified amount of time” and insert “48 hours” Member’s explanatory statement This amendment and another in the name of Lord Goddard defines “short notice” as at least 48 hours before a shift is due to start, and clarifies that if this notice is given, the employer will not be required to make a payment under section 27BP.
