Children’s Wellbeing and Schools Bill

However, I want to raise my broad concerns, which the Minister can perhaps come back on, and why I think reassurance is needed. My interest in home-schooling is more about state overreach and a trend, which I have been writing about and commenting on for some years, of undermining parents and their autonomy in relation to the state, and getting the balance right. In that context, the proposed provisions to regulate home-schooling seem to be predicated on a change in the way the state views parents.
