Terrorism Act 2000 (Proscribed Organisations) (Amendment) Order 2025Contribution
My final point is actually a note to my former colleagues in the Labour movement. I like and respect the noble Lord, Lord Hain, probably more than he likes and respects me—but he does not need to intervene to answer that. I certainly have enormous respect for the noble Baroness, Lady O’Grady, but I say, probably to her in particular, that the Labour movement has to think more about working people here. They have been systematically targeted and deeply intimidated in defence factories. At times, they have been violently injured. It is totally unacceptable for the Labour movement to say that that is okay because it is for a cause.
