My noble friend Lord Beamish and I both served on the Intelligence and Security Committee and helped to produce the Russia report, which relates to part of the order before us today. I take what he says and will convey it back to my honourable friend Dan Jarvis, the Minister for Security, and to the Home Secretary. I want to have a positive relationship with the Intelligence and Security Committee, not least because I see my noble friend most days at breakfast in one part of this building or another. We will continue our discussion in due course, but I think it is important that the ISC, of which I was a member for five years and which my noble friend now chairs, is engaged with the Government on these security matters. I will take back his points and examine the position that he has put to us today.
