Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) BillContribution
I would like to understand what the noble and learned Lord, Lord Falconer, foresees as the process for deciding what drugs are going to be used. Will they be put into secondary legislation, which cannot be amended? What role will the commissioner have? Who will decide? The word “devices” is used in the Bill, but many people who write to me seem to think it will be one pill or an intravenous injection, so we need to be much clearer about what the sponsor of the Bill sees the devices being.
