Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) BillContribution
Alex Greenwich MP, in evidence, said that if somebody wants to end their life quickly, voluntary assisted dying through a regulated process is not the option that they are going to take. I presume that he was talking about the length of the process at each stage rather than the drugs, but we need a better understanding of this. The model that has been presented in the Bill is just one model. I wonder whether this is the best model for us in this country, considering our society, the way our health service works, and our relationship with death and dying.
