Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill

Contribution

If so, how is it professional that someone with little or no knowledge of the patient’s history, mental state, et cetera, who has no care relationship with that person, is permitted to raise ending their life? The doctor involved is not required to be caring for the person, but their knowledge can be based on a glance at their chart, a computer screen or their appearance. Surely that is not thoughtful or caring for a health service.
