I recognise a lot of the great work that the Government are doing to pull us towards net zero, but tonight across the House, for the first time in a long time, there is uniformity across all parties on this point of view. We recognise that the energy transition is an extremely complicated business and that we absolutely need to keep the lights on. We welcome the fact that the Government have reduced the subsidies by half, and we note the plan for BECCS, if that comes to be.
