Contracts for Difference (Miscellaneous Amendments) (No. 2) Regulations 2025Contribution
The Government are in a difficult position—I recognise that, and I recognise the need for dispatchable power—but I call on them to look for alternative solutions. Continuing to use Drax is not the answer. The simple truth is that we have to stop pumping CO2 into the atmosphere, and the Government must look for alternative plans and means for doing this post 2027.
