I am sure that I am not alone in hearing from constituents about a rise in shop theft—whether it is from pet shops, nail salons or even charity shops—and we have seen that in my own constituency in recent months. I am also sure that I am not alone in hearing reports of people on illegal off-road bikes intimidating residents and causing serious accidents, as they do in Offerton and High Lane in my patch.
