Greenhouse Gas Emissions Trading Scheme (Amendment) (Extension to Maritime Activities) Order 2026Contribution
“The Committee was advised on 26 February about the significance of the SI in relation to linkage discussions between the UK Government and EU in respect to the emissions trading scheme and securing CBAM exemptions. Discussion of these two matters together must be handled sensitively as we do not want to invite speculation on the progress of negotiations”.
