In terms of the overall debate, it is difficult for me to respond easily to every one of the interventions that have been made because we have had a lot of canards this afternoon—indeed, so many canards that if we added them up, between us we would have a very successful duck farm running across this House and elsewhere. If there are points that have been made by some noble Lords that I am not able to respond to directly this afternoon, I will attempt to write to those noble Lords to try to get as accurate a picture as possible across to them in response to the points that they have raised.
