As the National Pharmacy Association has pointed out, although large pharmacy chains may have the capital and infrastructure to invest in sophisticated hub facilities, enabling them to centralise dispensing, what about our independent local pharmacies, which are often at the heart of our communities, particularly in rural or deprived areas?
