This is a well-intentioned provision that seeks to protect workers’ legitimate freedom of association and engagement in union activities—principles that are rightly enshrined in both domestic and international labour frameworks. However, my amendment seeks to ensure that these protections do not become a shield for misconduct or contractual breach.
