Defra has allocated £190 million for the construction of border control posts, which are supposed to become operational next month. That is concreting in the division of our country into two. Noble Lords might try to imagine what £190 million would do to our health service, to our policing service and to our building of new homes, and how many nurses that would create, and how many doctors.
