I cannot help but draw a contrast with what I describe as the “Great Parasite Amazon”, which famously deploys many of the same practices but is extremely resistant to union involvement. We have seen union activities and I point noble Lords to how long these issues have been going on. In 2019, the GMB union had a Prime Day action to complain about what was already happening to workers and the health and safety issues that were arising. Of course, the situation has only got much worse since then.
