Natalie Sheard from the University of Melbourne cites one of her research participants, a career coach, explaining that one of his neurodiverse clients, a top student on his university course, had, after many job applications, been unable to get through personality assessments. The career coach believes the student’s atypical answers resulted in low scores, so the student did not progress through the process. That, of course, is very difficult to identify and the kind of thing that it would be difficult to make a legal case on.
