I would be concerned—perhaps I have misunderstood the nature of my noble friend’s amendment, and indeed that of the noble Lord, Lord Hendy, in Amendment 186 —about whether this is the right body to be doing all these other functions in addition to, in effect, the negotiation of pay and terms and conditions. I think they should be absolutely separate as we go forward, and in the next group I will try to suggest something to the Minister. With that, I bring my comments to a conclusion.
