In a publicly funded sector as stretched and complex as adult social care, I believe that this is a pretty reckless approach, but I look forward to hearing how the Minister will reply to the noble Lord, Lord Hendy. We need mechanisms that balance fairness to workers with financial sustainability and public accountability, not a free-for-all that empowers industrial actors to drive up costs unchecked.
