In the amendments my noble friends have laid, there is a much clearer solution that excludes various obvious sectors. I ask His Majesty’s Government to confirm that they accept these are sectors where it is much more likely that flexible working will not be as fruitful an avenue for an employee to explore as it might in other sectors.
