My Lords, I thought it would be useful to update the House on what will happen next. Now that the Bill has had its First Reading, we will adjourn the House for 15 minutes while it is printed and prepared for its Second Reading. That should be brief and formal in the light of this afternoon’s debate. After Second Reading, the House will be adjourned again for at least one hour to enable noble Lords to table any amendments for Committee. The precise timings for Committee will be advertised on the annunciator when we can be more precise. With that, I beg to move that the House do now adjourn during pleasure until 2.57 pm.
