377C: After Clause 142, insert the following new Clause— “Extension of notice period for public processions(1) Section 11 of the Public Order Act 1986 (advance notice of public processions) is amended as follows.(2) In subsection (5) for “6” substitute “28”.(3) In subsection (6) for “6” substitute “28”.”Member's explanatory statement This amendment would extend the notice period that is required for public processions to take place from 6 to 28 days.
