380: Clause 154, page 201, line 24, at end insert— “(7A) Authorised persons listed in section 71A may not use the information referenced in subsection (1) for the purposes of biometric searches using facial recognition technology.”Member’s explanatory statement This amendment ensures that the DVLA database cannot be used for searches using live facial recognition.
