I am also pleased to commit to set out in regulations the need for clinicians to include a plan to help a patient make an advance choice document wherever appropriate, as part of their statutory care and treatment plan. We believe that this will facilitate the uptake of advance choice documents, which I know noble Lords are keen to see.
