Ecodesign for Energy-Related Products and Energy Information (Amendment) (Northern Ireland) Regulations 2025Contribution
Again on the issue of the rest of the United Kingdom, the noble Lord said that it might at some point align and that there would be a consultation on that. The noble Baroness referenced this, but the question is: what happens in the meantime? If the rest of the United Kingdom comes into line with EU regulations, whether you think that is a good idea or not, there is going to be a gap. There will be a considerable time in which there is no alignment.
